I absolutely love observing my own species, very objectively and with no judgement at all. I am fascinated by human behaviour, its evolution or sometimes, like in the dating context, its devolution.

Random innocent interactions between strangers…eye contact, a smile, a nod or just an innocent “Hello.”

We are not used to these anymore. I imagine it was so much easier back in the days before the screens stole our eyes…connecting us more and more, yet fully disconnecting us from each other.

I see every person as a walking book, full of stories, a hidden treasure that is yet to be opened. We are surrounded by a living library every single day and we don’t even realise it.

In my eyes, nobody is boring. Every human has experienced things that I haven’t experienced, and I strongly adhere to the principle that knowledge is power.

The more information you have, the better equipped you are for any situation in life.

Even in cancer, this is how I saved my life. I had more information on other therapeutic options abroad when all of my doctors in Luxembourg told me it was too late for surgery and chemo and they could only offer me radiotherapy.

Choosing only that option would have killed me within months, if not weeks, as my cancer was quickly spreading.

Every stranger–stranger encounter is a win-win. Even a bigger win if you go beyond the small talk.😉

When it comes to dating, all genders seem equally confused.

Approaching, reading signals, flirting, actual courtship…everything has become so complicated.

People overthink every move and every word. It could all be so simple if everyone stopped thinking so much and acted more intuitively. We are losing daily opportunities because of mental risk assessments and fear of rejection.

We are totally out of practice, and this is where I feel human evolution has gone backwards while advancing at a crazy speed in other domains.

Just an observation…take it from me: Life is now. Not tomorrow, not yesterday. If not this Life, which Life?

As I have many strangers and non strangers in my network, feel free to give me your insights. I love discussing, debating, and growing.
